Monday Assignments and Announcements

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We would like to congratulate Mr. Boothe and his family because by the time we get back on Monday, his daughter would have given birth to a new baby.

We want to wish Mr. Harmon a Happy Birthday on 10/1.

PSAT are in two weeks for interested juniors. AIMS writing tests are at the end of October.

We have a field trip on Tuesday 10/5 with Mr. Boothe at a Bird watcher in Gilbert. Please remember to fill out permission slips. Chaperones are needed.

We would also like to announce that Arizona State University is sponsoring a Earth Science Day on Saturday October 16. It is an exciting event that I hope all students can attend.

Homework for Monday:
All History and Public Policy Students watch the presidential debate and report on who won and list three reasons why.

If there are any questions, please ask. Take care.

Assignments

This is Grand Canyon Prep's new way of distributing assignments to students. It has the advantage of easily archiving all previous assignments, and does not require e-mail access for parents or students. It can easily be bookmarked for fast access. In addition, parents and students can leave signed comments or questions about assignments, fostering dialogue about the educational requirements at Grand Canyon Prep. An automatic e-mail will alert school administrators that a comment has been left, and teachers as well as school administrators can respond to these comments.
