High School AIMS Reading and Writing scores are out. We are very happy with the performance of the students who have been with us the whole year. Congratulations to Brent Davila and Howard Lanus for exceeding the AIMS reading.

Please remember that we are off on Friday. We do have school on Monday.

Miss Foy is sponsoring a bike ride that will start at the Wildflower on Monday April 17.

Spanish and Japanese classes have homework.

Public Policy classes have current events due on Thursday.

Holocaust class is to research ways to help the people in Darfur by visiting the web site

Announcments for Thursday April 6

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We hope every one is well.

Please remember that tomorrow is a half day.

Please remember that grades 6,7,8 will be finishing the AIMS test tomorrow.

Please remember that it is not too late to donate money to Grand Canyon Prep and receive a tax credit for it. Please help out your school.

The following students have been invited and have accepted an inviation to attend the May 2 Arizona Diamondbacks game against the Los Angeles Dodgers. They are Ryan Willmes, Ryan Turpin, Cory Milford, Cody Milford, D.J. Owsley, Angela Spadafino, Joseph Spadafino, Tim Goodrich, Andrew Gallini, and Rebecca Kielsky. Howard Lanus, Nichole Van Enwyck, Amber Winscom, Ethan McKenzie, Rachel Foster, and Shane Cavanaugh were also invited but indicated that they would not be able to attend. We want to thank the Arizona Diamondbacks organization for continuing to invite members of Grand Canyon Prep to their games.

We hope every one is well.

It is tax season and we would like to remind families that they may donate up to $300 (married couple) or $250 (single family) and receive a tax credit from the State of Arizona if you owe taxes. Please help our school by taking advantage of this program.

Announcements and Assignments for April 3, 2006

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Please excuse the tardiness of this posting.

Please remember AIMS tests are this week. Grade 10 (and some 11/12) will take the AIMS Math tomorrow. Grade Nine students will take the Terra Nova test on Tuesday and Thursday.
Grades 6,7, and 8 will take the AIMS from Tuesday to Friday. 100 percent attendance is required.

Please remember that Friday is a half day.

Miss Zachreson and Miss Foy have English/History assignments due.
