Announcements and Assignments for November 29

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We hope every one had a fantastic Thanksgiving holiday.

Thank you again for making this years holiday food drive the best in Grand Canyon History where we collected 240 pounds of food. Congratulations to the three students who donated the most food. They are Thomas Cook who won two free movie passes and Matt Cochran and Jared Haden who won two Best Buy Gift Certificates. Grades 6/7/8 group won the contest and they will get the privilege of dressing casual on November 29 as well as being recipients of a free Pizza party. Before winter break, we are going to continue to work with Phoenix Rescue and collect toys for homeless children. They can be brand new. We hope you can help out here to. Please contact us if you have any questions.

Happy Thanksgiving and Thank you

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We want to wish you all a happy Thanksgiving and thank you all for contributing to the best food drive in Grand Canyon Prep History. Over 500 items weighing over 240 pounds was donated to the needy through Phoenix Rescue. It is a credit toour school that we all worked together to help those in great need this holiday season. Please remember that tomorrow is a half day and we are closed on Thursday and Friday for Thanksgiving. Please make arrangements to have all students picked up by 11:30 a.m.

Please remember that we are collecting food for people in need until tomorrow morning at 8:00 a.m.

Please remember that we are still collecting donations towards the school that may be used as State Tax Credits.

There are no assignments for Thursday or Friday this week.

The school is collaborating with Phoenix Rescue Mission in collecting food and other items for those in need this holiday season. Please help out. More information to follow.
