We have just learned that our Student of the Year from the 2000/01 School Year Christopher Burrows has made the Deans Honor Roll List at the University of Arizona. Mr. Burrows is currently majoring in Veterinary Science. Congratulations and continued success to him.

Please remember that permission slips are due on March 30 2007 for the field trip to see Cyrano DeBerjac on April 5

Third Quarter Report Cards have been distributed to the students. Please advise if there are any questions. The Third Quarter Honor has been posted to the blog site. Congratulations to all 24 students who are on the honor roll. The new top three students are Angela Spadafino, Sarah Peterson, and Sarah Subiyantoro. The students who have been on the honor roll for all three quarters and are eligible for a free laptop computer if they come back next year are: Sarah Peterson, Sarah Subiyantoro, Ethan McKenzie, Donald Arbgast, Daniel Glawson, Shane Palmer, Dylan Arbgats, Meagan Delander, Thomas Cook, John Giovanetti, Michael Giovanetti, Rosie Virgin, and Shane Cavanagh. Students who have already received the lap top and have are eligible for $250 towards their college scholarship fund are Angela Spadafino, Howard Lanus, Joseph Spadafino, and DJ Owsley.

Third Quarter Report Cards and Assignments for Thursday

Dear Parents and Guardians

Third Quarter Report Cards will be released by tomorrow and the third quarter honor roll will be released by Thursday. Please feel free to contact us if you would like to discuss your child's grades. Please remember that if your child is in danger of failing a course for the semester if their grade in a course is below a 70. Per our policies that we outlined at the beginning of the school year, if a child has a semester grade in a course that is below a 70, it will (unless there are mitigating circumstances) be converted into an F. Please contact us if you have any questions in this regard. Take care.

North Central Association Visit

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We hope every one is well.

We had a very nice meeting with Dr. Don Enz, the Arizona Director of the North Central Association (N.C.A.) He was very pleased with the school facility, staff, and student body. He agreed with our goals to expand exposure to the sciences, technology, and history. He was very impressed that our students have earned over 100 hours of college credit over the last four years. He also feels that our school is offering a very beneficial program to our students.

There are no half days this week.

We are looking for volunteers age 16 or higher to help us build a house with Habitat for Humanity this Saturday. Please let Mr. Gordon know if you are interested.
