Announcements and Assignments for Tuesday

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We hope you are all well.

Please remember that we have a costume contest tomorrow at 10:30. Interested students need to pay a $5.00 entry fee. We also have a half day and school will be released at 11:00 a.m.
Students may still wear costumes if they do not enter the contest. Furthermore students who do not wear costumes must wear school uniforms.

The School Newsletter will be mailed out by Monday.

Below C and A grade calls will be made next Friday.

Please remember that we will have a four day weekend for Veterans Day with the school closed for November 10 and November 11.

Please remember that Fall AIMS starts tomorrow for those students in grades 11 and 12 that have not yet mastered one or more of the AIMS tests.

Please remember that we have a fundraiser dinner tomorrow night at Sweet Tomatoes starting at 5:00 p.m. and going until 8:00 p.m. This Sweet Tomatoes is located at Southern and McClintock. We hope to see you there.

Please remember that we have a half day on Friday with a Halloween Costume Contest at 10:30 a.m. The entry fee is $5.00 and Periods Three and Four will meet.

Fall AIMS exams will be held on October 28 (Writing), 29 (Reading), and 30 (Mathematics for students in grades 11 and 12. One Hundred Percent Attendance is required.

Please do not forget the school fundraiser event at Sweet Tomatoes on Tuesday evening. Flyers will be given to students on Monday.

The Halloween Costume contest will be held on the half day of 10/31. There is a five dollar entry fee and the top three winners get either cash awards or gift certificates.

We hope every one had a restful and eventful Fall Break. Next year we will schedule it around Columbus Day.

First Quarter Report Cards will be released on Friday.

We want to thank all the families and staff members who frequented our school fundraising dinner at Papa Razzinis last week. The owners were so happy that they have invited us to host another fundraiser in January. We are also hosting a fundraiser at Sweet Tomatoes on October 28. We hope you can join us.

We will have a Governing Board Meeting to consider the 2007/08 Annual Financial Report at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

PSAT will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday for those students that are interested.

Tutoring is available for Fall Aims for juniors and seniors who have not mastered one or more of the tests. We will speak with students over the next couple of days who would benefit from the tutoring.

Tutoring for the December SAT will start in November. More information will follow.
