Announcements and Assignments for September 6, 2005

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We hope you all had a restful holiday and are well.

WE ARE STILL COLLECTING ITEMS FOR VICTIMS OF KATRINA UNTIL THURSDAY WHEN THE PUBLIC POLICY CLASS WILL TAKE WHATEVER HAS BEEN TURNED IN TO THE SALVATION ARMY. WE HAVE HAD A GOOD RESPONSE BUT WE NEED MORE. PLEASE HELP OUT.

ELECTIONS FOR STUDENT COUNCIL PRESIDENT ARE ON THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 8. THE CANDIDATES ARE AMANDA ALCALA, BENT DAVILA, AND MEAGAN KOST. THEY GAVE GREAT SPEECHES TODAY IN ARTICULATING THEIR RESPECTED CANDIDACIES. THE NEW STUDENT COUNCIL WILL MEET NEXT MONDAY AFTER SCHOOL.

PIZZA FOR LUNCH TOMORROW

We are very grateful to the families that have donated $250 to the school in the tax credit program. There is still time to donate. Remember it is $250 for a married family and $200 for a single one. Please help your school.
