Announcements and Assignments for Friday, August 18

Dear Parents and Guardians,

The teachers are very happy with the attitude and enthusiasm of the students this first week as our tenth anniversary has gotten off to a great start.

Next week we will discuss extracurricular activities and the year end trip to Italy. We did distribute flyers to the students if they were interested in enrolling in the YMCA after school sports programs. Please contact the YMCA for more information.

PSAT information has been distributed to all juniors interested in taking the test. Please go over it with them as the test is in October. After school tutoring opportunities will be made available upon demand. Families with children in twelfh grade may be telephoned and asked to come in if we have not discussed their child's plans for after graduation.

11/12 Grade: Read to page 25, complete vocab, get resume information, and do not forget binders.
10th grade: Read to chapter four (page 17) of Turn of the Screw, complete vocab, and bring resume info.
9th Grade: Read to page 22 of Scarlet Pimpernal, complete vocab, and bring volunteer information.
