Announcements and Assignments for Thursday

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We hope you all had an excellent weekend.

Tutoring for English and Social Studies will be held on Wednesday after school. Families will be called for those students who need to stay after. Math and Science tutoring will be held on Monday. Tutoring for AIMS/PSAT/SAT are being coordinated and should have more information in the next couple of days.

There will be a meeting for all families on Wednesday September 19 at 7:00 p.m.. Grand Canyon faculty will be there to meet with you. An agenda will be mailed out by next Monday.

An excellent start for Grand Canyon Public Policy/Service Learning students began mentoring grades five and six students at Thomas Pappas. On Thursday, the students will mentor students in younger grades.

Spanish One: Ten sentences with ar verbs and use vocab sheet and video notes
Spanish Two: Ir verbs 3x3x on page 8

Mr. Gordon
Science Fiction Literature: Students who did not turn in one page summary of History of Universal and Mr. Hyde paragraphs have until Thursday at 8:00 a.m. to turn it in. Students also have to read Letters one through three of Frankenstein and turn in a one page summary of their group/individual semester project.
