Announcements and Assignments for Friday
Dear Parents and Guardians,
We hope you are all well.
With the publication of Science AIMS results in the Arizona Republic, we thought it appropriate to remind our families that Grand Canyon Prep Eighth Grade Students equalled or surpassed the State or Charter School averages in all the subjects of Reading (93 percent) Writing (71 percent), Math ( 64 percent) and Science (72 percent).
We are also excited to announce that Grand Canyon Prep is putting together a team of high school students where three of them will appear on the Cox Cable Show Brainstorm. The team now consists of Alyssa Brimacombe, Alexis Hernandez, Clifford Alexander, Don Arbgast, Bobby Diaz,Andrew Gallini, Christopher Kampsen, Nathan Kielsky, D.J. Owsley and Joseph Spadafino. Taping will take place on December 9 and the show will be broadcast in January. More information will follow.
Robotics Club meets tomorrow after school at 2:30
There will be Global Night on September 24 at 7:00 p.m. to discuss the trips to Japan and Italy/Spain.
We still have openings in grades six through nine if any one would like to refer someone who would enjoy our great program. Please contact us if there are any questions.
