Dear Parents and Guardians,
We hope everyone is well and had a great weekend.
Please remember Friday is a half day with periods one and two meeting. The staff will be meeting after school to plan for the Summer School programs and the 2009/10 School Year. We are off on Monday, January 19 for Martin Luther King Day.
First Semester Report Cards are out and the honor roll and commendation lists have been posted and will be published in the February Newsletter. Jacyln Wechsler, Clifford Alexander, and Antone Staedicke were the top three students for the first semester.
Jacyln Wechsler, Anton Staedicke, Drew Kistler, Denise Valenzuela, Tray Erickson, Katrina Perez, Chris Kampsen, Josh Cardenas, and Sam Hankins are still in the running for a laptop computer for next year. Camille Alexander, Joseph Spadafino, Andrew Gallini, Dylan Arbgast, DJ Owsley, and Alyssa Brimacombe are still in the running for $250 towards college.
The Brainstorm Team will compete again on March 24 at the Cox Studios against Mountain View High School and North Pointe Prep. WE WILL WIN.
Valentines Day items are available at the front office for delivery at the school. We have stuffed bears, puppies, monkeys, and silk roses going for $3.00 each. Heart Lollipops cost $1.00 and Marshmallow Pops and Chocolate Hearts are $2.00 each. We can deliver these to any student or teacher at the school with your own personal message or anonymously (if it is in good taste). The deadline for orders is February 5. Our First Open House of the year was very successful and we recruited several students. We will host another open house on January 24. Please tell your friends and family about the great program we have.
Please do not forget to pay your second semester fees.
