Announcements and Assignments for Monday

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We hope you are all well.

There will be an assembly at the end of fourth hour on Monday to recognize perfect attendance, February Birthdays, and the best grade performances.

Please order the Yearbook for the 2008/09 School Year. At the wonderful price of $20.00, they may be pre ordered through Mrs. Gordon at the front office.

Please remember that we will be conducting the High School AIMS Writing and Reading Tests next Tuesday and Wednesday. ONE HUNDRED PERCENT ATTENDANCE BY STUDENTS IN GRADES TEN AND ELEVEN ARE REQUIRED.

Please remember to pay your second semester fees.

Summer School schedules and revised proposed 2009/10 calendar will be released on Monday.

Assignments for Monday
Ms. Domanik
Human Anatomy: Finish 1) The Digestive System handout 2) Nutrition/Digestive System worksheet and 3) Protein Digestive Lab.

Mr. Gordon
Grade Nine History: Highly recommend reading to page 75 of The Source. Reading Page 413 through 497 is required.
Grade Twelve History: Complete two paragraph assignment on how the Kurds and Armenians fared at the Peace Conferences ending World War One.

Mr. Virgin
Grade Eight English: Do one paragraph summary each of chapters 31-35 of A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court.
Grade Ten History: Do diorama drawing or short story on Britain's' battle with the Spanish Armada from the first person point of view.
Grade Eight History: Look up and write a three paragraph biography of Lyndon Johnson.
Grade Six/Seven English: Write three paragraphs of what you would do if your pet was very ill and may be put to sleep.

Mr. Smith
Pre Algebra: 1) Get homework log from 2/9 through 2/13 and 2/17 through 2/20 signed and finish group project of six labeled triangles and write up answers.
Algebra One: Review back through 229 (25-32 all)

Mr. Milton
Middle School Science: Study Part Three Terms and Definitions and questions 1-10 (page 134) on Chemical Reactions: Quiz on Monday.
Grade 6/7 History: Read Jungle Book to page 29 and answer questions written on board on Friday.
