Announcements and Assignments for August 16,2005

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We hope you are all well.

Please remember half day on Friday August 19. School is released at 11:00 and we will be doing first and second hours.

Some students have requested changes to their schedules. I advised them to discuss these changes with you before proceeding.

Taco Bell tomorrow followed by sandwiches/subs on Thursday.

We have tabulated the interests of the students in extracurricular activities and will have a brief assembly tomorrow to discuss them.

Yearbook started today.

Readers/Writers Workshop: Thesis Statement on persuasive Paper.

Public Policy: Teams are supposed to start the process of their public service announcements. Each member has a task and responsibility. Only the director and filmmaker are excused.

English Assignment for tomorrow: Tell Miss Foy the names of books you are interested in reading.
