Announcements and Assignments for Wednesday

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We hope you are all well.

Zoology, Biology, and M.S. Science students need to turn in Permission Slips for the Wildlife Zoo and Aquarium by Monday March 2.

Summer School Schedules and Proposed 2009/10 Calendars have been emailed to families and staff. Please take advantage of the enrichment activities of summer school.

FALL HIGH SCHOOL AIMS WILL BE HELD TOMORROW. ALL SOPHOMORES AND SELECT JUNIORS ARE REQUIRED TO ATTEND.

Assignments for Wednesday

Biology: 1) Punnet Square and Problem solving lab 13.1
Anatomy: 1) Last chance to hand in digestive system worksheets and 2) Vitamin and Mineral analysis due on 2/27/08.

Mr. Gordon
Grade Nine History: Read page 595 through 630 and prepare for pop quiz on Islam. Complete two paragraph essay based on reading 450 to 495 and compare who was the better leader Josephus or Yigal with three reasons. Also complete one paragraph essay on the need for water in Constantinople.
Grade Eleven History: Prepare notes for pop quiz and complete one paragraph essay on Israelis elections.

Grade Eight English: Finish reading A Connecticut Yankee on chapter 36 to page 274. Prepare for test on book for Friday.
Grade Ten History: Queen Elizabeth I had many suitors for her hand in marriage. She rejected all of them. Write three paragraphs on what would have happened had she married.
Grade Eight History: President LBJ declared war. What did he declare and how was it fought (three paragraphs).
Grade Six/ Seven English: Write a one page paper on your pet. Write about an incident or memory of your pet that sticks out.
