Announcements and Assignments for Thursday

Dear Parents and Guardians.

We hope every one is well.

This is the schedule for AIMS/Terra Nova Testing starting on Monday March 30, 2009 and ending on Friday April 3, 2009. One Hundred Percent Attendance is required for these examinations. Monday, March 30, Wednesday April 1 and Thursday April 2 will be half days and students will be released at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday March 31 and Friday April 3 will be full days. Below is the schedule for the AIMS test. We will advise if there are any adjustments that need to be made to the schedule.March 30 (HALF DAY): Grades Six through Eight Writing: Testing sign up will start at 8:30 a.m. Mrs. Burnquist, Mr. Gordon, and Mr. Virgin will proctor. Test will held in Rooms One and Two. Grades Nine and Ten Students, with selected Juniors will be with Mr. Harmon and Mr. Smith. Seniors will be with Mr. Slusser. March 31 (FULL DAY): Grades Six through Eight Reading and Math Part One. Testing sign up will start at 8:30 a.m.. Mr. Milton, Mr. Slusser, and Mr. Gordon will proctor in rooms one and two.April 1 (HALF DAY): High School Math and Terra Nova Exams for students in Grades Nine, Ten. and selected Juniors.Testing sign up will start at 8:30 a.m. Mr. Harmon and Mr. Smith will proctor with Mr. Gordon. The test will be in rooms five and six. Grades Six through Eight Students will take Reading and Math Part Two. Testing sign up will begin at 9:00 a.m. Mrs Burnquist, Mr. Virgin, Mr. Milton, and Mr. Gordon will proctor. The test will be in Rooms One and Two. Juniors and Seniors not taking the tests will be with Mr. Slusser and Ms. Domanik.April 2 (HALF DAY): High School Science students taking Biology or did not take the test last year will take the test. Testing sign up will be at 8:30 a.m. and will be proctored by Ms. Domanik, Mr. Milton, and Mr. Gordon. This test will be held in Room Five. Grades Six through Eight will take Part Three of Reading and Writing. Testing sign up will be at 9:00 a.m. and will be proctored by Mr. Grago, Mrs. Ratliff, and Mr. Gordon. This test will take place in Rooms One and Two.April 3 (FULL DAY): Grade Ten Students will take the Math Field Test and Grade Nine Students will take the Terra Nova Test.in Rooms Five and Six. Sign up is at 8:30 a.m. Mr. Harmon and Mr. Smith will proctor. Grades Six through Eight Students will take the Science AIMs in rooms one and two with Ms. Domanik and Mr. Milton proctoring. Testing sign up will be at 9:00 a.m.. After the Science AIMS, Middle School Students will take the Math field test with Mr. Smith and Mr. Gordon proctoring. Juniors and Seniors will be with Mrs. Burnquist and Mr. Virgin.

Mr. Gordon:
Science Fiction Literature: Read Island of Dr. Moreau by next Tuesday

Mr. Slusser:
Leaders in History: List criteria (in writing) that makes a leader great.

Mr. Milton
First Year French: Vocab on page 142 3x plus study.
First Year Latin: Chapter 11 Vocab 3x and study.
