Announcements and Assignments for Monday

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We hope you are all well.

Testing is over except for a few makeups. The students behaved very well.

We still have about two months of school. Please convey to the kids that there is still a lot to learn and projects to complete. We have a lot of fun things to look forward to: The Science Project Fair, Sunsplash on May 21, The Spring Performance of Arsenic and Old Lace, The Guitar Performance, and our End of the Year/Graduation Ceremonies. We will also start after school conferences next week to discuss your child's progress and the 2009/10 school year.

Next Monday, we will have an assembly at the end of the school day to recognize the honor roll and perfect attendance students. Please remember that we will be off on Friday.

Yearbooks are on sale in the front office for $20.00. We are also still collecting Pennies for Dollars and are planning for Italy in the spring of 2010. Please contact us if there are any questions.

Assignments for Monday
Mr. Virgin/Mrs. Burnquist
Grades Six through Nine English: Complete three paragraph essay on how Shakespeare's life up to him becoming an actor that you believe has influence on him and prepared him for life as an actor and the playwright he would become.

Take care.
